‘Look at Me, I am Beautiful!’ Photo taken in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) by Patricia Willocq, an award-winning photographer born and raised in the DRC, and based between Belgium and Turkey. Patricia Willocq says the ‘Look at Me, I am Beautiful!’ series was taken to ‘empower children born of rape and women survivors of sexual violence and to promote peace!’ This photo was displayed in Bratislava, Slovakia, during July, as part of an exhibition celebrating the Global Peace Photo Award.
