A four-day fast from Hiroshima Day to Nagasaki Day in Whitehall Gardens, next to the ministry of defence.

  • Thursday 8.15am: commemoration and vigil at the time of dropping of Hiroshima bomb.
  • Thursday, Friday and Saturday 7pm onwards: all-night vigils.
  • Friday: peaceful protest outside parliament & Skype meetings with co-fasters across Europe.
  • Saturday: peaceful protest outside Downing Street & Skype meetings with co-fasters across Europe.
  • Sunday 11am: Nagasaki Lament in Whitehall Gardens.
  • Sunday 12noon: join the Pax Christi stall for prayers and vigil in the Piazza at Westminster Cathedral and then from there, join the 7pm walk to Battersea Peace Pagoda for Commemoration Ceremony.
